This Privacy Policy explains how Herohlabs handles information in connection with the My Budget mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. No Account Required

My Budget does not require you to create an account or sign in. You can use the app immediately after installation without providing any personal information to us.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All expense data you enter — including transactions, categories, budgets, and receipt photos — is stored exclusively on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party by us.

Expense records — stored in your device's private app storage
Receipt photos — stored in your app's private sandbox, never transmitted off your device by us

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.

3. Data Collected by Google AdMob

My Budget displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads, Google AdMob automatically collects and processes certain data from your device, including:

Device & Advertising ID — a resettable identifier used for ad targeting
IP Address — used to determine approximate location for ad relevance
App interactions — how you interact with the app, for analytics and ad performance
Diagnostic information — crash logs and performance data

All data collected by AdMob is encrypted in transit using TLS. This data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalised ads via Settings > Privacy > Ads on your Android device.

4. Photos & Camera Access

The app may request access to your photo library solely to allow you to attach receipt images to expense entries. This permission is optional — you can use all core features without granting photo access. Photos you attach are saved only to your device's local storage and are never transmitted to us or any third party.

5. Children's Privacy

My Budget is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.

6. Data Deletion

Since all personal expense data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by:

Deleting individual entries within the app
Clearing app data via device settings
Uninstalling the app

For AdMob data, reset or delete your Android Advertising ID via Settings > Privacy > Ads.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review periodically.
